Client Registration & Placement Fees

Private Estate Staffing Group works exclusively with private households seeking experienced, professional household staff. To ensure we attract and place top-tier candidates, the following standards apply:
 

  • Clients must offer a minimum hourly rate of $30 per hour for all household employee positions. Client acknowledges that compensation must align with current regional market standards, and Firm reserves the right to decline searches that do not meet competitive thresholds.

  • A non-refundable registration fee of $1,500 is required to initiate the search. A portion of this fee is credited toward the final placement fee.

  • The placement fee for both full-time and part-time employees is 20% of the employee’s total gross annual compensation.

  • For part-time placements, the placement fee is 20% of annualized compensation or $10,000, whichever is greater.
     

These fees reflect the level of vetting, discretion, and personalized search required to deliver exceptional long-term placements.

Compensation is determined by role complexity, experience level, schedule, household structure, and regional market conditions. The ranges below reflect current going rates required to attract and retain top-tier household and estate professionals.
 

  • Nanny: $30 – $50 per hour

  • Housekeeper: $35 – $45 per hour

  • Executive Housekeeper: $40 – $50 per hour

  • Newborn Care Specialist / Night Nurse: $45 – $60 per hour

  • Personal Assistant (Household-Focused): $45 – $70 per hour

  • Executive Assistant (Business / Hybrid Role): $100,000 – $150,000 annually

  • Companion: $30 – $40 per hour

  • Private Chef: $500 – $750 per day or $55 – $100 per hour

  • Household Manager: $130,000 – $175,000+ annually

  • Estate Manager: $150,000 – $250,000+ annually

  • Chief of Staff: Starting at $200,000 annually

  • Farm Manager: $45 – $60 per hour

  • Barn Manager: $45 – $60 per hour

  • Property Manager: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

  • Chief Engineer: $150,000 – $250,000 annually

  • Property Engineer: $90,000 – $150,000 annually

  • Residential Security / Personal Protection Specialist: $50 – $90+ per hour

    Any trial day or working interview shall be compensated directly by Client to the Candidate at the agreed-upon daily or hourly rate. Trial periods shall not exceed five (5) consecutive working days unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
    For each trial day, Client agrees to pay the Agency an administrative coordination fee of $85 per day, which shall be automatically charged to the payment method on file. Trial coordination fees are separate from and do not apply toward the final placement fee.

    The Agency offers a one-time replacement guarantee for permanent placements if the Candidate’s employment ends within ninety (90) days of the Candidate’s first day of employment due to involuntary termination by Client or voluntary resignation by the Candidate, provided that:
    (a) the separation is not the result of Client’s breach of this Agreement;
    (b) there has been no material change to the position, duties, compensation, schedule, or household structure from what was originally disclosed to the Agency and the Candidate; and
    (c) the separation is determined, in the Agency’s sole and reasonable discretion, to be primarily attributable to the Candidate and not to Client-related factors, working conditions, or household dynamics.
    The replacement guarantee does not apply to separations resulting from scope creep, changes in expectations, household dynamics, compensation adjustments, schedule modifications, or any other material deviation from the original role.
